§ 47-7. - Tampering with sewage works prohibited. (a) No person shall maliciously, willfully, or negligently break, damage, destroy, uncover, deface, or tamper with any structure, appurtenance, or equipment that is a part of the sewage works. (b) Any person who violates any provision of this article shall be guilty of a Class "a" offense. For any second or subsequent offense and upon proof of a prior conviction, said person shall be guilty of a Class "b" offense. (c) A separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day during or on which a violation of this article occurs or continues. (Code 1970, § 31-20; Code 1980, § 47-6; Ord. No. 25027, § 3, 11-18-14)
