Columbus City Codes § 111.09
in effect111.09 - Order of business.
The business at all regular meetings of the council shall be transacted in the following order:
1. Roll call.
2. Reading and disposal of the journal.
3. Reports, petitions, communications and notices received by the city clerk.
4. Reports of special committees, city officials and members.
5. Miscellaneous business by call of the members and of city officials.
6. Introduction and first reading of ordinances and resolutions.
7. Consent actions.
8. Reports of standing committees and second reading of ordinances.
