Sec. 23-136. - Duty of customer when ordering water turned on. Any customer ordering water to be turned on should verify that all pipes are properly connected and faucets closed so that the building or dwelling will not be flooded. The city will not be liable for any damages caused by flooding when faucets or openings are not closed. (Code 1985, § 23-90)
