Las Vegas Municipal Code § 16.24.010 Uniform Mechanical Code and supplement adopted.

16.24.010 - Uniform Mechanical Code and supplement adopted. Those certain documents, copies of each being on file in the office of the City Clerk, and designated as follows, are adopted by reference and made a part of this Code, to the same effect as if set out herein in full: (A) Uniform Mechanical Code, 2024 Edition, designated as Part 1 of this Chapter; and (B) A document entitled "Southern Nevada Amendments to the 2024 Uniform Mechanical Code," adding to, deleting from and amending the Uniform Mechanical Code, 2024 Edition, designated as Part 2 of this Chapter. Las Vegas Municipal Code § 16.24.020 New building evaporative cooling mechanisms not permitted.

16.24.020 - New building evaporative cooling mechanisms not permitted. After August 31, 2023, no new building that utilizes evaporative cooling mechanisms or devices as part of the building's heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration system is eligible for permitting. This provision shall be deemed to prevail over any contrary or inconsistent provision of the Municipal Code or the City's construction-related codes. (Ord. No. 6843, § 9, 8-16-23)
