Indianapolis-Marion County Revised Code § 131-241 Recorder's supplemental recording fees.

Sec. 131-241. - Recorder's supplemental recording fees. (a) The Marion County Recorder shall charge a fee of ten dollars ($10.00) for each document submitted for recording as permitted by IC 36-2-7-10.7 and is in addition to any other fees for recording a document. (b) All money collected by the Marion County Recorder under this section shall be deposited in the housing trust fund established under IC 36-7-15.1-35.5(e) for the purposes of the fund. Indianapolis-Marion County Revised Code § 131-242 Auditor's endorsement fee.

Sec. 131-242. - Auditor's endorsement fee. (a) Pursuant to IC 36-2-9.5-18, the city-county council hereby requires the auditor to charge a fee in the amount of ten dollars ($10.00) for each endorsement made by the auditor for each legal description of each parcel in a document that partitions or conveys real property. This fee increase shall be retroactive to July 1, 2019. (b) This endorsement fee is to be paid at the time the endorsement is made by the auditor, and this endorsement fee is in addition to other fees provided by law to be charged by the auditor. (c) The auditor shall deposit all fees received under this section in a dedicated fund for use in maintaining plat books. Indianapolis-Marion County Revised Code § 131-243 Surveyor administrative fee.

Sec. 131-243. - Surveyor administrative fee. (a) The Marion County Surveyor shall charge a one hundred dollar ($100.00) administrative fee for the certification of alcoholic beverage permits by the Marion County Surveyor as required by IC 7.1-3-4-3. This fee reimburses the county for manpower, time, and costs directly attributable to the certification of these permits. (b) The fee shall be payable by the applicant seeking the certification and permit before the Indiana Alcohol and Tobacco Commission. (c) The fees collected pursuant to this ordinance are to be deposited in the surveyor's corner perpetuation fund. (G.O. 60, 2013, § 1)
