SEC. 52.30. POLICE IDENTIFICATION CARDS - POSSESSION OF. No person other than a Regular or Retired Police Officer shall have in their possession any Identification Card issued to, or intended to be issued to, or purporting to have been issued to a Regular or Retired Police Officer of the City of Los Angeles, provided, however, that an honorably Retired Police Officer may possess an Identification Card which has the printed word “RETIRED” across the face of said card.
