28.308. Conduct as felony; penalty. Sec. 8. A person who makes a false certification or statement in applying for an enhanced driver license or enhanced official state personal identification card is guilty of a felony punishable by imprisonment for not more than 5 years or a fine of not more than $5,000.00, or both. 2008, Act 23, Imd.
