Sec. 10.32.3. Construction of Article. (a) Nothing in this Article shall be construed so as to require a City Department, Board, Commission or contractor to: (1) procure products that do not perform adequately for their intended use; (2) exclude adequate competition; and (3) procure products that are not available at a reasonable price in a reasonable period of time. (b) Procedures and Guidelines may be established by the City Council as necessary to ensure the continuation of a strong Environmentally Preferable Procurement Program. SECTION HISTORY Added by Ord.
