Sec. 12-56-19. - Location. All conduits shall be constructed under sidewalks, except where the physical conditions render this impractical. In that event, special permission in each case shall be obtained from the director of public works to construct conduits in or under the street between curbs. (Code 1967, § 29-39; Code 1985, § 27-42)
