915.2.3.1 Carbon Monoxide Annunciation in Group E Occupancies.
Carbon monoxide detection shall be installed in classrooms in Group E occupancies. Carbon monoxide alarm signals shall be automatically transmitted through a Fire Alarm Control Panel annunciator or a Carbon Monoxide Detection Panel annunciator to an on-site location that is staffed by school personnel. A supervisory signal shall be initiated and the signal shall also be transmitted to a Central Station monitoring service. In addition, a local audible alarm with the CO temporal code shall be annunciated in the room of origin.
