18-28-903.1.1 Additional combustion air. Factory-built fireplaces using wood or other solid fuels shall be provided with additional combustion air from the outdoors through the use of a UL listed outside air kit. The outside air kit shall be compatible with the make and model of the factory-built fireplace and shall be installed in accordance with the manufacturer's installation instructions.
