§ 5 ORDINANCES-REVISION AND PUBLICATION. It shall be the duty of the City Council, as soon as practicable after the adoption of this Charter, to provide for a revision, codification and publication of all the ordinances in force at that time in the city, and thereafter provide for a similar revision and publication as often as they may deem advisable.
