SEC. 16.00. DECLARATION OF PURPOSE. (Amended by Ord. No. 173,268, Eff. 7/1/00, Oper. 7/1/00.) It is the purpose and objective of this Article to establish reasonable and uniform regulations to protect the public welfare and to provide a streamlined method for consideration of applications for temporary use approvals and other land use approvals in an emergency, such as fire, storm, severe earthquake, civil disturbance, or other disaster declared by the Governor.
