Sec. 391-111. - Obnoxious gases. It shall be unlawful and shall be a public nuisance for any person to burn in any furnace, grate, boiler, fireplace, or upon any open piece of ground within the city, any substance containing rubber, zinc, lead, sulphuric acid, or any other substance which emits poisonous or obnoxious gases, fumes or smoke.
