Sec. 6-251. - Purpose and authority. It is the purpose of this article to: (1) Regulate the dancehall business in order to promote the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of the city; and (2) Establish reasonable and uniform regulations to prevent the harmful effects associated with late night dance establishments and "raves."
