Sec. 15-242. - Solicitation of gifts of art and funds. The public art commission shall have the authority to solicit gifts of art on behalf of the city and to encourage public-spirited citizens to contribute funds, as well as permanent works of art, to the city and thereby help to beautify the city and the public buildings and grounds situated therein.
