Section 1125. Salaries of the district attorneys. Each of the district attorneys of the counties of New York, Bronx, Kings, Queens and Richmond shall receive an annual salary equal to the compensation received by a justice of the supreme court in the county in which such district attorney has been elected and is serving, or $251,500 a year, whichever amount is greater.
