Sec. 22.1400. Creation of the Department. The Community Investment Department, referred to in this chapter as the “Department”, is hereby created as a department within the City of Los Angeles government. The Department shall have the powers, duties, and responsibilities set forth in this chapter and elsewhere in the City Charter, Los Angeles Municipal Code, and Los Angeles Administrative Code.
