Sec. 649. - Reports; inspection and audit of books, papers, etc. The said Memphis and Shelby County Port Commission shall, on or before January 30th of each year, and at such other times as may be requested by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Memphis and the Board of County Commissioners of Shelby County, file with the Mayor and Board of Commissioners of the City of Memphis and the Board of County Commissioners of Shelby County a report in writing of its activities of the previous year, together with an accurate account of all its receipts and expenditures. The Mayor and Board of Commissioners of the City of Memphis and the Board of County Commissioners of Shelby County shall have the right, at all times, to inspect all books, papers and accounts of said commission, and shall have the right to audit, or cause to be audited, the books of said commission at such times as they may elect.
