Sec. 22.115. Receipt of Gifts and Bequests of Personal Property.

(a) Title to all personal property accepted on behalf of the City by the General Manager of the Department shall be vested and held in the name of the City of Los Angeles. The General Manager of the Department shall cause all gifts of personal property and all items of personal property purchased through the fund established by Section 5.111.2 of this Code or otherwise acquired to be properly registered as required in the City’s equipment inventory system. (b) “Personal property” as contemplated by this section does not include “works of art” as defined in Section 22.109 of this Code. SECTION HISTORY Formerly Sec. 22.118, added by Ord.
