Sec. 5.151. Determination of the Controller.

Whenever in the judgment of the Controller of the City of Los Angeles the business of any department of said City may be transacted more expeditiously and more efficiently thereby, the Controller may establish in said department a petty cash fund and provide for the administration of such fund in the manner hereinafter set forth. Said petty cash fund shall be so established by furnishing such department with an amount in cash sufficient to cover expenditures as defined in Section 5.152 in such department in such amount as may in the judgment of the Controller seem necessary.
