§33.3501 Purpose and Intent

It is the purpose and intent of this Division to provide for the orderly regulation of the business of massage, massage establishments, and massage therapists in the City of San Diego by establishing certain minimum standards for the conduct of these businesses to protect the public health and welfare of the residents of the City of San Diego. This Division is adopted pursuant to California Government Code sections 51030 through 51034.
