§512.0202 General Definitions

Local Amendment. Fire Code Official means the Fire-Rescue Chief of the City of San Diego, or any member of the Fire-Rescue Department designated by the Fire-Rescue Chief to carry out the provisions of this Article. Local Amendment. Wildland-Urban Interface Area means a geographical area identified by the State as a “Fire Hazard Severity Zone” in accordance with Public Resources Code sections 4201 through 4204 and California Government Code sections 51175 through 51189, and other areas designated by the City of San Diego Fire-Rescue Department to be at significant risk from wildfires.
