Sec. 12-1. - Regional cooperation.
It is the policy of the city to cooperate with other municipalities and counties of the metropolitan area to attain the mutually desired sound development standards that will maintain this community as one of the most desirable in the country for industrial, commercial and residential activities; to maintain a high level of urban services for urban areas, at an economic cost; and, in cooperation with regional planning agencies, to develop and achieve a metropolitan plan for an efficient and attractive growth pattern which will encourage both the continued development of sound areas and the redevelopment of marginal, obsolete or substandard areas.
