Sec. 18-58. - Benefits.

Except as otherwise provided herein, the benefits to be granted employees not in the career service shall be in conformance with this chapter, and in accordance with applicable career service rules. When the career service rules permit a waiver or exception or require the approval of the Office of Human Resources, Office of Human Resources Executive Director, or the career service board, the waiver, exception, or approval shall be the sole responsibility of the employee's appointing authority, and the approval of the Office of Human Resources, Office of Human Resources Executive Director, or the career service board shall not be required.
