Sec. 26-5. - Rules and regulations; inspections; recommendations.

In order to carry out the intent of this article and to protect the health and safety of those residents and employees of such homes and the citizens of the city, the department of public health and environment may adopt from time to time rules and regulations pertaining to the requirements of sanitation, cleanliness, adequacy of facilities, equipment, structure, operation, personnel practices and regular inspection of boarding homes, and personal care boarding homes.
