18-29-301.6 Prohibited locations.

Plumbing systems shall not be located in an elevator shaft or in an elevator equipment room. Plumbing systems shall not penetrate an exit enclosure, except as expressly allowed by Chapter 10 of the Chicago Building Code. Exception: Floor drains, sumps and sump pumps shall be permitted provided they are indirectly connected to the plumbing system. Plumbing systems shall not be located in electrical rooms except as expressly allowed by the Chicago Electrical Code. (Amend Coun. J. 9-6-17, p. 55278, Art. II, § 63; Amend Coun.
