2.50.150 - Salary—Official charged—Temporary replacement.

The salary paid to the said official shall be withheld from him during his suspension and shall be placed into a trust account pending the outcome of the charge. If such official is acquitted, the money shall be paid immediately to him. If he is found guilty, however, the money shall revert to the City. In the event his office during such suspension has been filled temporarily, as provided in Section 2.50.130, the person who fills such office shall receive the salary established for the office without regard to the salary which is concurrently being paid into the trust account.
