20.10.030 - Private maintenance.

For all facilities not identified as Regional Flood Control facilities in the most recently adopted Regional Flood Control District Master Plan Update, public drainage easements must be privately maintained. Subdivision layouts shall minimize the need for drainage easements through the conveyance of storm water flows within proposed roadway rights-of-way or private streets, meeting applicable criteria within the Hydrologic Criteria and Drainage Design Manual. Public drainage easements not located within proposed roadway rights-of-way or private streets shall be concrete lined and located on common lots owned by an owners' association or equivalent maintenance organization.
