§ 2-472. - Emergency purchases by department head during work hours.

In case of an actual emergency occurring during normal office hours, the head of any using agency may, with the consent of the agent, purchase directly any supplies or contractual services, whose immediate procurement is essential to prevent delays in the work of the using agency which may vitally affect the life, health or convenience of the citizens.
