§ 29-176. - Definitions.

The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this Article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning: (1) Boiler contractor shall mean any person engaged in the business of planning, contracting, supervising, or furnishing labor or labor and materials for boiler work. (2) Boiler operator shall mean any person who performs or assists in the performance, oversight, operation or control of a boiler. (3) Boiler work shall mean the installation, alteration, or repair of water heaters and boilers within the scope of the International Mechanical Code as adopted and amended by the City.
