Sec. 6-44-14. - Accident reports.

Reports of accidents in which a vehicle for hire service or any passenger vehicle for hire may be involved shall be promptly made to the police services division in accordance with the provisions of chapters 2-28 through 2-34. The certificate holder and the driver shall each have responsibility for filing a copy of the report with the director of police services. Upon the happening of any accident or collision, the certificate holder shall forthwith have the vehicle for hire service or passenger vehicle for hire involved therein taken to the garage or repair shop of the certificate holder or to some reputable repair shop.
