§ 30-1-255 - ACTION ON AN APPLICATION.

(A) Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, the land use commission shall act on an application for a variance not later than the next meeting after the public hearing is closed. (B) The platting board may: (1) approve an application for a variance; (2) approve an application for a variance with modifications; or (3) deny an application for a variance. (C) The platting board may require that a variance be: (1) revocable; (2) effective for a specified time period; or (3) subject to one or more conditions.
