SEC. 42A-1. PURPOSE.

The purpose of this chapter is to facilitate the promotion of temporary outdoor activities including special events, neighborhood markets, the Dallas Farmers Market farmers market, and streetlight pole banners within the city, as defined in this chapter. The city's overall goal is to encourage activities that benefit the city, stimulate economic growth, and provide a vibrant, active community for all citizens.
