SEC. 2-3. OFFICERS, ETC., OF CITY NOT TO DEAL IN CITY WARRANTS OR OBLIGATIONS.

No officer of the city, nor any deputy, clerk or employee of any such officer, nor any servant or agent of the city, shall, directly or indirectly, by himself or by any other for his own or another’s benefit, deal in the purchase of city warrants, bonds or other obligations of the city.
