13.16.020 - Exceptions.

The insurance requirements of Section 13.16.010 shall not apply to: A. The department of water utilities of the city or any other city department engaged in work performed as part of a public work or where work is being performed by city forces; B. Work performed by a public utility company operating under a valid franchise from the city. C. Driveway, curb or sidewalk work performed by a property owner in front of a building owned or occupied by him as his home.
