5.05.040 - Construction approval.

A. New public swimming pools and public spas shall have a valid certificate of occupancy from the building official demonstrating compliance with Chapter 18.08 and Chapter 18.02 of this Code. B. Existing public swimming pools and public spas that have been altered, expanded, renovated or otherwise remodeled shall have an updated certificate of occupancy or certificate of completion demonstrating compliance with the requirements of Section 5.05.040 A.
