7.15.160 - Immediate closure by director.

A. The director may order the immediate closure of a shop when there is a reasonable basis to believe that an animal contracted or was exposed to any serious communicable disease while being groomed at the shop. Immediately following such closure, the director shall proceed as appropriate under Section 7.15.150 of this Code regarding the status of the shop registration and licenses issued to any groomers providing onsite services in the preceding seven days. B. Failure to promptly comply with the notice of immediate closure shall subject the shop to other legal remedies as are available to the city.
