C05.5 FEE REFUNDS.

(a) The director of planning and development or his or her designee may authorize the refunding of any fee paid hereunder which was erroneously paid or collected. Where work for which a permit has been issued does not commence, and a request is made for a cancellation of such permit within a 60-day time limit, the permit fee may be returned, upon request, minus an administration charge of $5. After the 60-day time limit, no fee shall be returned. (b) Exceptions: (1) When the investigation fee of § C05.3 has been collected, it shall not be refunded unless paid by another party. (2) No refund will be given for the application fee.
