Sec. 20-55. - Duration of certification course and food handler course; passing grade.

(a) The special course of training for food service manager's certification shall be conducted at an appropriate length of time to cover course material. (b) A food handler training course may not exceed two hours. (c) An applicant for a food handler's certificate may be required to pass an examination to successfully complete the course. (d) All persons successfully completing the course of training for food handlers shall receive a food handler's certificate.
