Sec. 15-84. - Rental of hotel rooms for periods less than twelve (12) hours prohibited.

It shall be unlawful for any hotel or the owner or operator of any hotel in the city to rent, offer to rent, or register to a lodger any room for a period of less than twelve (12) hours or to publish or advertise a rate for a room for a period of less than twelve (12) hours. The rental of a room to a lodger for which a contractual agreement was made at least seven (7) days prior to the lodger's arrival shall be excepted from the limitations and established in this subsection.
