105-125. Power of Arrest.

The chief of police and policemen respectively shall have full power and authority, and it shall be their duty to arrest all persons in the city found in the act of violating any law or ordinance of the city, or aiding or abetting in any such violation, and shall arrest all persons found under suspicious circumstances, and shall take all such persons in charge and confine them until a reasonable time to bring such persons before the county court in and for the county of Milwaukee, to be dealt with according to law.
