303-35. Penalty.

In addition to any other action, any person violating this chapter shall be subject to a forfeiture of not less than $100 nor more than $1,000 for each violation. All forfeitures shall be paid to the city treasurer. The city attorney, when so requested by the board, shall institute proceedings to recover any forfeiture incurred under this section in circuit court which is not paid by the person against whom it is assessed.
