313-09. Oath of Office.

It shall be the duty of the chief engineer and each member of the fire department to be qualified by oath or affirmation that he will faithfully observe the constitution and laws of the state of Wisconsin, the charter and ordinances of the city of Milwaukee, and perform to the best of his ability all of the duties of his office; such oath or affirmation shall be filed in the office of the city clerk.
