SEC. 11-12. BURIAL - TRANSIT PERMIT. If a dead body or fetus is to be removed from this state, transported by common carrier within this state, or cremated, or if a disinterred body is to be removed from the cemetery where it was interred, the funeral director, or person acting as funeral director, shall obtain a burial-transit permit from the director of public health.
