Indianapolis-Marion County Revised Code § 135-871 Created.

Sec. 135-871. - Created. Pursuant to IC 36-1-8-2, the council hereby establishes a cash change fund in the amount of two hundred dollars ($200.00) to be placed in the custody of the Chief of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department or the chief's designee. The cash change fund shall be used by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department to make change when collecting cash revenues. (G.O. 53, 2013, § 1)

Indianapolis-Marion County Revised Code § 135-872 Administration.

Sec. 135-872. - Administration. The two hundred dollars ($200.00) for the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department cash change fund established under section 135-871 shall be paid by a warrant drawn on the appropriate fund in favor of the chief without the need for an appropriation. The chief shall account for the fund in the same manner as other funds, and shall return the entire fund to the appropriate fund whenever there is a change in the custodian or when the fund is no longer needed.
