19.795.020 - Applicability. The Planning Commission shall have the power and duty to hear the appeal of any person aggrieved by any order, act or determination of the Building Official regarding accessibility issues. In such capacity the Planning Commission is not vested with legislative authority and must act within the framework of existing ordinances. The Planning Commission is authorized, upon appeal, to approve or disapprove interpretations and enforcement actions taken by the Building Official relating to access.
