Sec. 3.230 - Appointive officers; City Manager's direction; administration of departments. All departments, offices and agencies, except the City Manager, City Attorney, City Auditor and the Board of Civil Service Trustees, are under the general direction and supervision of the City Manager and must be administered by an officer who is subject to the immediate direction and supervision of the City Manager. With the consent of the City Council, the City Manager may serve also as the Director of one or more departments, offices or agencies and may appoint one person to be the Director of two or more departments, offices or agencies. (Amended by the Nevada Legislature, 1991, 1999)
