Indianapolis-Marion County Revised Code § 135-831 Created.

Sec. 135-831. - Created. Pursuant to IC 36-1-8-2, the city-county council, as the fiscal body of the Consolidated City of Indianapolis and Marion County, Indiana, hereby establishes a cash change fund in the amount of four thousand dollars ($4,000.00) to be placed in the custody of the county treasurer or his designee, which cash change fund shall be used by the county treasurer's office to make change when collecting cash revenues. Indianapolis-Marion County Revised Code § 135-832 Administration.

Sec. 135-832. - Administration. The four thousand dollars ($4,000.00) for the treasurer's cash change fund established under section 135-831 shall be paid by a warrant drawn on the appropriate fund in favor of the treasurer without the need for an appropriation. The treasurer shall account for the fund in the same manner as other funds, and shall return the entire fund to the appropriate fund whenever there is a change in the custodian or when the fund is no longer needed.
