6.28.240 - Administrative variance. Subject to approval by the State Department of Health Services, the Director may grant an administrative variance from the provisions of this chapter where documentary evidence establishes that a modification of the standards as provided herein will not endanger the general public health and safety, and strict compliance would be unreasonable in view of all the circumstances.
